1 Live Plant – Big Bluestem “Blackhawks” Grass Perennial
Andropogon gerardii “Blackhawks” native North American prairie grass. It emerges earlier in the spring than most ornamental grasses. The green foliage turns to purple shades throughout the summer eventually turning almost black in color.
A low maintenance plant once established. Shipped in 2.5″ x 4″ inch pot.

Planting Instructions:
Plant the root ball into the soil and keep the top of the root ball level with the soil.
Water daily so it does not dry out. Do this for 2 weeks and then water as needed.
Flowering plumes emerge in late Summer.
