Threadleaf “Butterscotch” Bluestar Amsonia hubrichtii – 1 Live Plant (Shrubs)
This perennial has soft needle like and feathery, graceful, flowing foliage.
Green all summer, the foliage turns golden butterscotch yellow in fall.
The blooms on this beauty are small blue star shaped flowers that appear in mid to late spring. Thrives in full sun to part shade. This was the Perennial Plant Associations 2011 ‘Perennial Plant of the Year’. Dies back in winter and grows to about 3’. Grow in borders, beds and massed in drifts.
Deer resistant.
Hardy in zones 5-8.
